I could no longer stand the daily commute into central London, I couldn’t feel anything except having my senses stimulated by a good balanced espresso and since then I’ve been focusing on perfecting that.
Trained at prufrock, worked in various cafes and then branched out alone in 2015.
Started in Sydenham and Lewisham Market, then found a regular spot in Covent Garden, then a spot in Black Heath, then Canary Wharf, then Peckham, Brockley Market and Westminster Bridge London Farmers market. Now you can find me outside the DLR in Lewisham Gateway since February 2018 where the roundabout used to be!

My roaster, Dumo from The Roastery Department was in the same class as my brother in secondary school – so when I re encountered Dumo we got our heads together and created a custom seasonal blend as unique, complex and colourful as Paul – Big Bro Espresso was created.
We offer the highest grade of coffees that are sourced from all over the world with 100% traceability. Extract on a state of the art hand made in Florence equipment – brew single origins, use “proper milk” from specific for coffee. Brew Speciality loose leaf teas, Steam speciality Cacao chocolate.
